ADS1298: Is RLD effected by the Gain set for the channels?

Say RLD is running based on Channels 1 and 2.

Will changing the PGA Gain setting for each channel effect what RLD signal is outputted?

Hi Eric,

The gain in the ADS1298 PGA is a differential gain only. The common-mode gain is always equal to 1. Therefore, the RLD output should not be affected by the gain that you choose for the PGA as long as you remember to select both the PGAxP and PGAxN outputs for that channel (otherwise you end up with a differential signal in the RLD).
