I'm planning to add ADS8331 into my current project and found that information about Vref is possibly ambiguous. Here is what is stated in document SBAS363C (http://www.ti.com.cn/general/cn/docs/lit/getliterature.tsp?genericPartNumber=ads8332&fileType=pdf) on page 2 (Absolute maximum ratings table): REF+ to AGND–0.3 to VA+0.3V. In the same document on page 20 you can find that "the ADS8331/32 can operate with an external reference with a range from 1.2V to 4.2V". Since VA could go up to +7V (same table on pg.2) or +5.5V (see pg.11) why I could not use +5V as reference (i.e REF02 or REF5050)?
