Would enabling LeadOff Detection affect the Respiration Impedance signal on Channel1?
Do I need to disable Lead Off Detection in order to get a clear Respiration Signal?
Thanks,

Hi Eric,
Thanks for your question.
When Channel 1 is configured for a respiration impedance measurement, the inputs are AC coupled - therefore, DC lead-off detection would not work on this channel.
AC lead-off detection might still work, but I'm not sure what effect it might have on the respiration signal. I would imagine that you could do it because these signals are in different frequency ranges: RESP is between 0.1Hz - 0.5Hz; AC lead-off = fDR/4; and RESPMOD is either 32kHz or 64kHz.
That said, typically the same electrodes connected to the respiration path on Channel 1 are also connected to Channel 2 for ECG measurements. It would probably make more sense to disable lead-off on Channel 1 and monitor the lead-off status on Channel 2 instead.
Please let me know if you still have any questions.
Best Regards,
