I am trying to enter the PCB footprint for the ADS1148 in the QFN32 package.
As the footprint is none standard (the centre thermal pad is off centre) and the datasheet only includes the mechanical dimensions of the component i am struggling to enter the footprint accurately enough.
I know that mechanical data is at the back of the datasheets and yes it does contain a PCB footprint for the TSSOP-16 (pg58), TSSOP-20 (pg60), TSSOP-28 (pg62 & pg63 Repeated for some reason) which is good.
But we want to use the QFN-32. Now in the datasheet you include the mechanical information (pg64 & pg65) but not the information to create the pcb footprint.
On the website you provide a bxl file which unfortunately we cannot import the output from ultra-librarian into our pcb package.
What is worse is that the bxl file is WRONG, pg 65 of the datasheet shows that the EP pad is non central, yet in the bxl file it shows it as central. I have bought one of the ADS1148 in a QFN-32 package and can confirm the EP is non central.
Could you please provide me with a drawing for the pads of the component to ensure the PCB is correct. I really think this should of been in the actual datasheet. This is of extreme inportance as i am on a very tight deadline.
