Hello,

Are there the DAC which has the similar function with LTC2644?
I found the TI design of Microcontroller PWM to 12bit Analog Out.
However this design can't output the DC voltage with PWM input.

Hello Asaka-san,

I believe that we do not have a device that behaves in this way. Our devices use parallel, I2C and SPI-compatible input interfaces. We do not have a device that takes PWM as an input and generates a DC voltage at the output.

Eugenio is correct that we currently do not have any Precision DAC products that accept a PWM input and output a high integrity DC signal. For my curiosity, could you please share more information about the application you plan to use this in and why a PWM input is desired?

Hello Both,

Thank you for the reply. I understood.
Our customer consider to using the PWM to Analog converter replacing from current model of automotive actuator to next model.
The current model has PWM interface only. Thus, they need PWM interface DAC.

You can use a Precision OP and a reference voltage can convert the PWM to voltage, additional OP can convert the Voltage to 4-20 ma output, detail things you can search information from Google.

Indeed - direct conversion from PWM to DC voltage is an option but, depending on performance goals, may or may not be acceptable in a given application. We have a simple reference design that explains this approach (short of the voltage-to-current stage) here: http://www.ti.com/tool/tipd127
