No driver recognition from the SDM-USB-DIG

Hello,

I just connect my SDM-USB-DIG and I'm not able to make it to work. I opened my device manager and I see there is a problem recognizing the driver.

I restarted my computer and looked for a driver in the web but with no luck, any thoughts?

Regards,

Pascal.

  • Hi Pascal,

The driver is communication device class (CDC) and is native to windows, so the driver should already be a part of the OS on your computer.  The installation file (inf) for the device installation should be a part of the EVM software.  If you plugged the SDM-USB-DIG first prior to or during the software installation the device may not have had the correct installation.

If you are using MS-8, or 8.1 you may be having an issue related to driver signing.  Here is a zip file of the signed installation file for the installation of the CDC driver.

    1616.msp430_ti_signed.zip

    Best regards,

    Bob B

  • Great! Now is working! Thanks! :)
