Hello all,

I am an undergraduate student from India. I have been working on a project on "application on ADC". I have been recommended to use ADS1271 for the project. I need a simple beginner application circuit(not block diagram). Also, how should I approach this? What all things should I consider?

    Hi Aditya,

    Welcome to our forum!

    To get started, I would suggest looking at the basic connections on page 30. This will help you decide what external circuitry is required to get the ADC up and running. Also shown are suggested ADC input drivers and reference input drivers, which are necessary for this device.

    In addition, we offer an evaluation board on the TI eStore: ADS1271EVM-PDK. It comes with a User Guide and free software that allows you to acquire data from the device and evaluate its performance.

    Thanks a lot!

    The output of the given circuit will be a digitized form of the differential voltage input from Dout? I prefer no daisy chaining and a High Resolution mode.
