I am successfully setting the gain register for gains of 1, 2, 4 and 8, however when a gain of 16 is set the actual gain measured is only 2.5.
Using a 50mV DC input, 4.7V reference and writing 0x30 (gain=1) directly to channel 0 configuration register, the ADC is about 330, writing ox32 (gain=2) gives ADC of about 650, 0x34 (gain=4) gives 1280 and 0x36 (gain=8) gives 2520.
All makes sense so far, however if I write 0x38 (gain=16) the ADC reads 800. It's as if the FGA is not working!
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
