What is the maximum sampling rate of DAC 8568? Can it be used for tone generation?

    Hi Chethan,

    Do you mean to know how fast the output of the DAC can update or how fast the SPI can communicate with it?

    Typically precision DACs are not used to generate waveforms with low THD. They focus on generating accurate DC signals.

    The DAC8568 has a max settling time of 10 μs so this would be the ideal time to wait before updating the DAC again limiting it to 100 kSPS. How many points do you need for your tone?
