Hi TI Experts,

I have a customer that plan to use ADS1298 for the ECG application.

But when they use the development kit to measure heart beat, they could not obtain any pulse or signal.

Is there anything wrong with the setup or settings?

Is there any information for the step by step start up guide or settings reference?

Sorry, i'm not an expert in this area.

By the way, they also tried with the Analog Device AD8232 and they can get a clear pulse reading.

Please advice.

Hello Teach Me,

There are no comprehensive "step-by-step" instructions for how to receive an ECG pulse using the ADS1298 EVM since so much depends on how the user wishes to configure the device. They should look at the user's guide for the EVM as well as the datasheet for the ADS1298. If they have specific questions after reviewing those documents, please let me know. This chip is markedly more complicated than a simple heart-rate monitor as it is performance-optimized to measure clinical-grade ECG. I am happy to assist in your customer's understanding of the product.
