ADS1263EVM-PDK evaluation module The strict set of LabView source code (including the configuration files) that, by compiling, generates the adcpro.exe file

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: ADS1263, ADCPRO

We made a data acquisition on only one channel at a time, as enables at the moment the evaluation software ADCPro, but we intend to use the ADS1263 for the simultaneous data acquisition from three accelerometers and three fiber optic gyroscopes, and also for some auxiliary accelerometer signals.

A minimal, but valuable assistance for us were, to make us available the actually set of source code for the ADCPro, with the aim to run this in LabView, to understand the code and to modify it for a channel scanning, followed by its compilation to an executable file, analogous to your adcpro.exe file.

We need, to make the things feasible, but also keeping all the excellent characteristics of your evaluation software, the strict set of LabView evaluation source code (inclusively the configuration files) that, by compiling, generates the adcpro.exe file.

  • Hi Torsten,

Welcome to the TI E2E Forum! I'm sorry for the delay in responding your question; I did not receive a notification for this thread...

We're not able to share the ADCPro source code, but I might be able to help with providing a VI for the ADS1262EVM-PDK that could control the ADS1262EVM-PDK from within your own LabVIEW program.

Please give me a few more days to look into this...

    Best Regards,
    Chris
  • Hi Torsten,

The ADS126xEVM-PDK LabVIEW source code is available for download from the following link:

  • Hi Chris,

Thank you very much for the friendly provided LabView software.

We are able now to communicate with ours ADS126xEVM-PDKs and we’ll tray to configure our application soft using also some vi’s from the ADCPro source code.

    Thanks.

    Kind regards,
    Torsten

  •  Dear Chris,

Thank you again for the two VI’s sent, that permitted us to develop our own data acquisition application, taylored on our experiment necessities – first of all, working in multiplexing mode, with a small number of samples per channel.

We send you (to the e-mail address: pa_deltasigma_apps@ti.com) our VI-version “ADS126xEVM-PDK Example Sequence_TORSTEN_24.vi” (LabVIEW 2014), built on the basis of your “ADS126xEVM-PDK Example Sequence.vi”, that is capable to multiplexing-acquire each 10 samples per channel, storing in a first instance four accelerometer signals and an inner temperature signal. So, we targeted also some simultaneity of sensors data, possible because of the limited acquisition time per channel, followed each time by a quick spring to the next channel.

For our evaluation experiments, this VI was very valuable, permitting the data storage and also the on-line signals visualisation. Nevertheless, for our future experiments, this LabVIEW application seems to be to slow for our purposes.

Therefore we ask you to send us, please, some C-code drivers (and, of course, if possible, some illustrative C-code software examples), to permit us to configure our own rapid acquisition software, based on your ADS126xEVM-PDK module.

Thank you very much for all your efforts.

    Kind regards,

    Torsten
