I am using the Hamming Code approach in order to verify that the received data from the ADC is correct and I am able to match the bits H0 - H4 of the received data. However I cannot figure out how the two checksum bits are being generated. I don't think that a normal checksum algorithm is being used on the 24 bit data since this will surely require more than two bits. (Pg 40 on datasheet) Does anyone have any idea how these two checksum bits are being generated?
