  • Hello Gaurav,

    Thanks for your question.

Often times, the wrong ID is read back when the device does not power-up correctly. Make sure that you are following the power-up sequence outlined in 11.1. Most importantly, issue a /RESET pulse or send the RESET command after tPOR has passed. You should see /DRDY pulsing at the default data rate to know that the ADC is actively converting.

    Have you checked this?

    Best Regards,
  • I have also given the sufficient delay at very initial and resetting it with pin but still not working.

And I have 2 front end boards of TI ADS1298 and ADS1298R, but same code  for ads1298R is working and reading correct chip ID.

    But not with ADS1298 .

  • Hello Gaurav,

Do you have more than one board with ADS1298 that you can test? I expect the same start-up sequence to work equally for the ADS1298 and ADS1298R.

On the ADS1298, do you ever see /DRDY pulse at the default data rate?

    Best Regards,
