I'm trying to interface an ADS1298 to an FPGA but I can't seem to get it running for whatever reason. I set START high, !RESET high, !CS low, and CLKSEL high and turn the ADS1298 on, but !DRDY doesn't begin toggling as the data sheet says it should. !PWRDWN is tied high permanently. I've got 3V on the analog supply and 2.5V on the digital supply. Here's the ADS1298 portion of my schematics, sorry if its a little difficult to read:

I only have the first one, U9 soldered on and connected. I'm wondering if the chip might be fried. Is there an easy way to tell?
Thanks,
