PGA411-Q1: PGA411-Q1 Input range for IZx pins

Hi Champs,

My customer is asking the input ranges for PGA411-Q1. Their input signal for IZ3 and IZ1 is a -4 ~ +4 sine wave, but the datasheet specified the Vpp for VIZx is 3V. Will this cause any issue??

3Vpp refers to the pk-pk at each IZx pin. You also need to look at your signal on the OCOS/OSIN pin, which should be kept between 0.5V and 4.5V, although usually it is set to around 1.5 to 3.0Vpp.

If your differential signal across IZ3 and IZ1 is 8Vpp, that will be too large. Fortunately, you can fix this by adjusting the external resistors to set the gain of the system. Refer to the "AFE External-Component Value Selection" section of the datasheet.
