ADS1292: ADS1292 vs ADS1292R

Dear Team,

My customer is using the ADS1292.

Due to long lead times they're now considering the ADS1292R.

I wanted to double check with you whether from technical point of view they are identical ? can the ADS1292R be defined as direct replacement ?

Is there any change needed to be done to the board if they're changing from the ADS1292 to ADS1292R in a few production batches ?

Hello Nir,

Thanks for supporting our ADS1292!

Minus the respiration feature, the two devices are functionally equivalent. The modulation and demodulation circuitry can be disabled via the appropriate register settings. All other non-respiration specs in the datasheet apply to both devices.
