What's the different between TVP5146M1 and TVP5146M2?

hi,All

The TVP5146M2 work good with DM365,but when replace it with TVP5146M1,get a error for write the I2C registers.

I cannot get the TVP5146M1 data sheet,please send me one or tell me the different ,thank you !

    Vico,

    Are you replacing with a TVP5147M1 or TVP5146M1?  The TVP5146M1 is not present on the TI website and is not recommended.

    The only TVP5146M1/M2 difference is firmware and ROM code.  There is no difference in I2C hardware.  The TVP5146M1 is not recommended and may not be firmware compatible with the DM365 software.

    The I2C resgisters for basic setup are the same.  The DM365 driver may report errors if the ROM version in REG 70h is being checked.  The ROM version readback will be different for the two devices.

    If TVP5146M2 firmware patch code was being loaded at power up, this will have to be disabled if the TVP5146M1 is used.

    Note that numerous bug fixes and improvemnts are in the TVP5146M2 ROM firmware and that TVP5146M1 firmware is not supported.
