16bit ADC selection for image sensor application

Hi,

I'm looking for an appropirate 16-bit ADC for a precise, very  low-noise CMOS image sensor (CIS) application. The pixel reaout rate is 3 Mpixel/s. In terms of ADC noise w.r.t. CIS applications, which ADC parameter is of more significance: SNR, ENOB (based on SINAD) or transition noise?

SNR and ENOB are dynamic parameters, whereas transition noise is static parameter. If SNR or ENOB is of more significance in contrast to transition noise, which frequency has to be considered for SNR/ENOB evaluation from data sheet values? Because of ADCs in CIS applications are operated at nyquist rate (input frequency equal to ADC sampling frequency), SNR/ENOB values provided in the data sheet does not represent this operation mode from point of view.

Thx in advance!

Thomas
