THS8200 NRND

Hi,

the THS8200 has become NRND without any suggested alternative. Pls advise what's the reason for this status and ifthe part is going to be LTB soon. Also could you suggest with which part to substitute the THS8200 in a design with DaVinci DM8148.

    Dmitry,

    All the TVP and THS products are now NRND (except the TVP5150AM1) due to support issues. We are no longer able to provide high levels of design in support.

    Unfortunately we do not have any other recommended devices to replace these NRND devices.

    NRND does not mean end of life (EoL) and there are no immediate plans to make any of these devices end of life, so they should be fully available for years to come.

    Steve, thank you for the answer. The problem we see now is that the price for THS8200 rises as well as TI sales says to us that the lead times will increase too. Could you comment?

    Unfortunately I can't comment on the sales and marketing side of things. You would need to work with the sales channel for all information regarding price/availability, sorry.

    Hi Steve,

    I understand the reason of THS8200's NRND, but I know THS8200-EP is still active. Can you support THS8200-EP though you commented that THS series included THS8200 were NRND due to support issues?

    The difference between THS8200 and THS8200-EP is just only operation temp range, right?
