Dear Sir,

May I have your help?

we design TVP5160 in SDRAM，if we dont' use 3D NOISE REDUCTION  ,  can we take SDRAM off ? Thanks.

    SDRAM is used for the demodulation as well. If you disable 3DNR and 3DYC you can remove the SDRAM but in this case you will not be able to perform 3DYC, which is the main function of the TVP5160.

    If you do not want to do 3DYC then I suggest using the TVP5146 or TVP5147 which will be cheaper and give better performance IF NOT USING 3DYC.

    If you enable 3DCY then the performance of the TVP5160 will be far superior to the TVP 5146/47.
