THS8200: whehter the clock input can be 75Mhz for 1080P60 for THS8200?

Part Number: THS8200

Hi team,

My customer want to use the THS8200 with BT1120 mode, output is 1080p60(VGA), they want to check whehter the clock input can be 75Mhz for 1080P60? Because their input cannot give 148.5Mhz clock.  Thanks.

BR

  • As per the standards definition 1080p requires 148.5MHz.

The pixel rate is 1920*1080*60*~1.2 = ~148.5MHz and the THS8200 only supports single data rate pixel clocking.

Please refer to section 6.1 in the THS8200 datasheet for formats supported.

    BR,

    Steve
