I'm looking for video converter IC's for my application and not able judge and select the IC's. please assist me to pick the right one.

    In both cases this would require 2 devices.

    For composite to YPbPr you would need a decoder (e.g. TVP5150, TVP5147, TVP5160 depending on quality requirements) followed by a video DAC like the THS8200.

    For DVI to YPbPr you would need a DVI TMDS de-serializer (e.g. TFP403 or TFP503 depending on HDCP copy protection requirements) followed by a video DAC like the THS8200.
