Hi James, We provide NTSC/PAL video decoders (See TVP5150AM1, TVP5151, and TVP5147M1) that convert video to digital YCbCr. You will need to follow that with a device that will scale, de-interlace, and convert to RGB for display on the LCD panel. One of TI's ARM or DSP based processors used with...

These devices convert NTSC interlaced video to...

Philip, The TVP5150AM1 and TVP5151 are both available in industrial temperature versions. However, the TVP5150AM1 is the only video decoder with a Q100-certified version at this time. The automotive (Q100) version of the TVP5150AM1 uses the same 32-pin TQFP package as the non-Q100 versions....

Hi, is there any specific ESR requirement for a crystal for TVP5151? The datasheet states just the frequency and ppm requirements. Thanks Massimo

  • Forum Post: Re: TVP5151 crystal selection

    Larry Taylor Larry Taylor
Massimo, ESR is not as big a concern as frequency, ppm, and CLoad matching. ESR of fundamental crystals typically decreases as operating frequency increases. ESR of various 27MHz crystals we have used were specifed in the 30-50-ohm range.
