    Floating License Issue

      H,

I have purchased 3 floating licenses. To date i have not been able to get them working and have to use the 90 day eval license to do my development work.

Probably my latest license installation problem was following the instructions for installing a node-locked license instead of a floating license.  I left a message for our IT guy to see if we have a Flexnet license server and can install the floating licenses, in the mean time I'm still using the Trial License.

how can i get past this licensing issue. I understand i may need to furnish more info and and am happy to do so. Please feel free to ask for any info that will expedite a solutions.

      thanks.

      Hi Derek,

first of all please note that now you are on the 90 day evaluation license, CCS will not even attempt to find a license server until this expires.

So, to your issue.  What have you do to date?  Ie what have you set up?  How have you configured CCS?  Your server?  Have you set up a server yet?  Do you get any error messages?

Please follow the instructions on this wiki and keep us informed how things go.

      Best Regards,
      Lisa

      Hi Derek,

I just thought I would check whether there is any update to your enquiry and/or further information available.

      Best Regards,
      Lisa

      Hi Lisa,

The customer wants to move to 3 node locked licenses at this point.

      Please advise.

      Derek

      HI Derek,

unfortunately this is something that the team here does not do.   If they purchased the license from TI, then I would suggest contacting the license team at either of these emails:

      ccs_license_file_help@list.ti.com

      ccs_subscriptions@list.ti.com

If you get stuck finding out what the options feel free to ping me so I can ping them but unfortunately I can't decide on or generate/change the license for you/them.

What I can do, is issue a temporary demo license should that help in the mean time.

      Best Regards,
      Lisa
