Hi,
I just want to read .264 input to ddr2 ram in omap4430 processor on panda board .
I am working with CCS5 and windows platform.
1) I got one point regarding using the memory load options in CCSV5.
But in this option, mentioned input format should be in .dat or .out ......
I am using the H.264 encoded stream (Video Codec) which is in .264 format.
So, how should I use this input(.264) for loading into ddr2 memory (as there are two options only that is .dat and .out) ??
how should i convert that .264 into .out or .dat ??

2) Other option to read input to ddr2 ram.................................... (Please comment on this) .....................................
I read some information related to the .GEL file.
So shall i use the gel file to load the input into the ddr2 ram by following way :
There are some functions like GEL_memory_Load() which is helpful for loading the input into the processor.
Please ,Give your suggestions....................!

Hello Studinstru,

Actually the default format is binary (which is probably what your .264 input is). If that file name does not have a .dat or .coff extension, it will assume it is a binary (raw) format.

I do not believe there is a GEL API for binary loads. I would stick with option 1 and use the Memory Load/Save feature in the CCS memory view.
Thanks
