Hi,
I'm getting this wierd error while trying to open the ROV view:
Could not create the view: Plug-in com.ti.dvt.gridview was unable to load class com.ti.dvt.ui.views.core.PaneView.
What I must do to get ROV working?

My CCS Version: 5.1.1.00031
Weber,
Is this the first time you're using ROV on this install or did it work for you before? Is this a straight CCS 5.1.1.00031 install or did you install any patch/updates?
Regards,
Imtaz.
It is a straight CCS5 installation. I installed it from a fresh installer.
No patchings, no updates.
This is an unusual error ... give the sense that something did not get installed correctly. Are you seeing ROV in the CCS Tools menu? Are other features like Graph, Image Analyzer and System Analyzer available in the Tools menu?
It these are there can you try using a new workspace and see if that help.
Thanks,
No, they arent there. Creating a new workspace doesnt help.
Access to these windows exists only through View->Others, not the tools menu.
I've licensed CCS with the license for debuggers. I'm currently working on EVMC6678LE, which includes a XDS560 debugger.
This does appear to be an install issue. In this thread http://e2e.ti.com/support/development_tools/code_composer_studio/f/81/p/171566/640233.aspx#640233 some users ran into problem because they installed CCS5.1.1 on top of CCS 5.1.0. They were able to correct this cleaning the folder first before installing CCS 5.1.1. Could this be the issue you're seeing?
I'm not sure it is a install issue. I've removed CCSv4 before installing.
However, installing CCSv5.1 on linux, alongside with CCsv5.0.3 brings no problems regarding ROV.
Good to hear that the Linux install is working. Would it be possible to try a fresh install (can install in a different folder to avoid affecting your current install) and see if that resolves the problem?
