    CCS Version: 4.2.5.00005

    CSL Version 2.50.000

Trying  to load the UART example project from:

C:\Program Files\C55 Low Power Chip Support Library v2.50.00\c55xx_csl\ccs_v4.0_examples\uart

into my CCS workspace. I Get the following error:  Other posts relating to this generic issue talk about using newer versions of the tools, but according to the csl doc, all the csl examples were tested using ccs v4.1 and I am using a newer version of ccs, so i'd expect backwards compatibility.  Any ideas? (PS I've also posted this in the C5000 forum).

I tried it on a different machine, no problem, so I think its related to my ccs install.  Here is a snap shot of my product config window. I don't see a "Code Composer Studio for C5500" component like I do on the other PC which is working. It could be when I initially installed CCS on my machine I didn't select the C5500 family.  What's the proper way to add the C5500 to my existing CCS install?

      Hi Shawn,

you should be able to add it by rerunning the installer into the same directory.   Please keep us informed whether that gets the device support you need added.

      Best Regards,

      Lisa
