    Hi,

When I try ti import example project into CCS.  It gave me the following error:

Also, I am using MDXEVM6657L.  When select device to be C6657,  I get build error for "the device not supported".  But it works if select C target, C66xx.

    Thanks.

    Regards,

    Steve

      Hi SGQ,

I'm not familiar with this example. Did this come from a particular product? Could also provide the version numbers?

      Thanks,

      Tom

      Steve,

This appears to be a generic CCS-related issue rather than specific to EDMA3.  Because of that, I have moved this thread over to the CCS forum in hopes that it will get a faster response there.

      Dave

      Hi Lisa,

I did not use Project->Import existing CCS/Eclipse Project.  I used TI Resource Explorer.

      Hi Steve,

so you get this error right from the project explorer?  I don't think I have that pdk version installed but I can see if I can reproduce this locally.

      Best Regards,

      Lisa

      Hi Steve,

I seem unable to reproduce this.  I had to install a couple newer versions of things I had but did not see the error you see.  Could you pelase provide a few further details?

      Best Regards,

      Lisa

      Hi Lisa,

There isn't much detail to provide.   Do you have some specific test for me to try?

      Thank you.

      Regards,

      Steve

      Hi Steve,

do you get that error from the resource explorer import?  Do you have the latest CCS version?  Have you tried a fresh workspace? (I would assume so?)  How did you install the MCSDK/pdk?  Have you tried reinstalling?

      Best Regards,
      LIsa

      Hi Lisa,

do you get that error from the resource explorer import?  Yes.  The error message was in my first E2E above.

Do you have the latest CCS version?  Yes.

Have you tried a fresh workspace? Yes. (I would assume so?)

How did you install the MCSDK/pdk?    by running bios_mcsdk_02_00_09_21_setupwin32.exe

Have you tried reinstalling?  No.   Why should I?

      Thanks.

      Regards,

      Steve

      HI Steve,

ok, as mentioned I can not reproduce this.  One reason I asked about reinstall is in case or corruption etc.  Is there any further details you can provide?  Do you get any logs?

      Best Regards,
      LIsa
