    Hello,

recently I upgraded/installed the following verison:

    - CCS Version 5.2.1.00018
    - SYS/BIOS 6.30.03.46 (eabi) ELF
    - TMS470 Code Generation Tools 4.9.6
    - XDCTOOLS 3.23.03.53

Before doing this, all stuff was deinstalled.
CGT and XDCTOOLS are coming through/with CCS 5.2
SYS/BIOS 6.30.03.46 was afterwards installed via bios_setupwin32_6_30_03_46.exe (downloaded from TI pages).

Since this there is now no help available for the modules within my configuration (grayed out, see CCS52_lost_help.jpg).

How do I get back the "Help" for the modules?

    Thanks,
    Frank

      Hi Frank,

Did you upgrade or do a fresh installation?  I suspect the upgrade might have caused an issue.  It seems the help is loaded upon a fresh installation and it appears may not be refreshed after that.  We have seen something similar.

Let me dig into this to see if there is any possible work around or what might be the cause.

      Best Regards,

      LIsa

      Lisa,

      did the following:

      - closed CCS
      - removed within Control Panel -> Add/Remove programs whatever I found from TI (SYS/BIOS, XDCTOOLS, CCS)
      - deleted C:\ti folder
      - deleted C:\Program Files\InstallJammer Registry folder

Then I installed CCS52 ( CCS5.2.1.00081_win32.zip), made an update through it for ARM Compiler Tools 4.9.6 and emulator stuff.
      Afterwards installed SY/BIOS 6.30.03.46

Would be great if I do not need to uninstall/reinstall any stuff again, hopefully only a path is missing somewhere.

      Thanks,
      Frank

      Hi Frank,

unfortunately the reinstallation is all I can suggest if the help is important enough for you.

      Sorry for the inconvenience.

      Best Regards,

      Lisa
