Hello everyone , my ccs version is  5.0.1.201105110900 , when I create a Target configurations (.ccsml) file with Texas Instruments Simulator, but I can not find dm642 device simulator, whether this ccs version does not support simulator dm642?

    thanks in advance

      Hi Liang

please see the list of simulators avaialble on this wiki topic

      http://processors.wiki.ti.com/index.php/Category:Simulation

      http://processors.wiki.ti.com/index.php/List_of_Simulator

It looks like there is a simulator, however I would recommend two things

      - first using the most up to date CCS version

      - if you have used this in the past, transfer the files (xml files) to v5

      Please keep us informed.

      Best Regards,
      Lisa

First thanks for your help, Lisa!

I have read the  list of simulators avaialble on wiki topic, this is only for CSSv4 and CCSv3.3, and the list of CCSv5 does not present.

and how can I transfer the xml files to v5?

      Best Regards

      Liang

      Hi Liang,

I have flagged that site for correction/updating.

Unfortunately there used to be a simulator for that device but after v3 it was no longer supported.

      Sorry for any inconvenience.

      Best Regards,

      Lisa
