while downlouding an older version of the compiler

    Which version of CCS are you using?

    Could you please try the workaround suggested under item 5 of this wiki section and let us know if it helps?

    i am using code composer v7.4.0

    the compiler is v8

    and i need to downloud an older version in order  to support dsk6713

    each time i try that an arror accure

    Did you try the workaround mentioned in the link I posted earlier?

    If that does not help, another option is to download the stand-alone installer for the desired compiler version from the TI web and have CCS discover it.
    Follow the steps described in the 2nd bullet in this page
