    Hi,

I've some issues in CCSv4.2 and MSP430F5438A. I migrated my project from CCSv4.1 to CCSv4.2 but the compiler gives Error: should be one of {CPU15 CPU18 CPU21 CPU22 CPU23} and  Warning: This project was created using a version of Code Generation tools that is not currently installed: 3.3.1 [MSP430]. Please install the Code Generation tools of this version, or migrate the project to one of the supported versions.

I've tried to select them manually but still does not work. I've also trived to update latest Code Generation Tools (GGT). But I can only see CGT version 3.3.1 and 3.2.2. I can't update the CGT to version 3.3.3.

    Can someone help me?

    Thanks.

    Michael

      HI Michael,

ok, what I can do is send you v4.0.1 of the code generation tools offline.  You can then install and upgrade the project to use this version and hopefully things will go well.

I will send a conversation/friend request when I am able.

      Best Regards,
      Lisa

      Hi Lisa

Thanks for the file. I've installed the exe file I ,downloaded from the ftp server, but still not working.  In  Window->Preferences->CCS->Build->Code Generation Tools, can't install CGT file. Are there anyway to install this file?

      Best Regards

      Michael

      Hi Michael,

what do you mean by can"t install?   Did you select add and point to the cgt directory?  What are you experiencing?

      Best Regards,

      Lisa
