    Hi:

I am unable to configure CCSv5 to use license server (floating 3 users). I followed the instructions for setting up your license server here: http://tiexpressdsp.com/index.php/License_Server_Administration_for_CCS

At step (4) I am supposed to do the following:

In the step Start the Server check the box Start server now. A browser window will open with the main license manager GUI. Leave it open for now.

When I do the above, a web browser opens up trying to connect to http://localhose:8080/ and the webpage displays the message "Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage."

I do not get  a browser window with the main license manager GUI.

Hence, I am unsble to configure the license server.

    Could you please help?

    Thanks a lot!

    Cheers,

    Mushtaq

      Hi Mushtaq,

we have seen an issue with some IE versions.   Could you try in a different browser or version if IE?  Also make sure you have java installed.

      Please keep us informed.

      Best Regards,

      LIsa

      Hi Lisa:

      I have installed Java.

I tried with Mozilla with no success.

The system (Windows Server 2003) has IE7.

I will try with IE8, and get back.

      Thanks a lot!

      Cheers,

      Mushtaq

      Hi Lisa:

We found out that the the service lmadmin.exe is not running. We manually started the service from the DOS command window by entering the command:

      lmadmin -installation lmadmin.

We observed it running in SERVICES.

After the above, we could connect to http://localhost:8080/ and configure the CCS license server.

      Thanks a lot!

      Cheers,

      Mushtaq
