Configuration of XDS560v2 STM for CCS 5.1 and TMS320C6416T DSK
I have installed CCS 5.1.1 under Linux and connected the JTAG emulator XDS560v2 STM to the PC.
According to the tool rootsd_emupack5.1.1.08 the connection of the PC to the JTAG emulator via USB and LAN works well.
But I failed to configure CCS to use the JTAG adapter to connect to a TMS320C6416T DSK board. The appropriate configuration files seem not to exist.
Do you know a working configuration for CCS 5.1.1 and XDS560v2 STM to connect to this DSK board? This DSK board is very similar to our custom-build device using the TMS320C6416 we use so I could easily adapt the configuration for the DSK to this device.
I see options for DSK6416 with both Spectrum Digital and Blackhawk XDS560v2 connection configurations. Which emulator are you using?

I am using the Spectrum Digital XDS560v2 STM.
For which Code Composer Studio Version did you see the connection configuration? May you post a screenshot?

My apologies, I just noticed that you are using CCSv5 for Linux. Unfortunately C64x is not supported on Linux:
is it planned to support C64xx devices in a future version of CCS for Linux? If yes, for which date?
If not, is it possible to add the support of C64xx devices myself?
Sorry, we don't have any plans to support the older C6000 devices like 64x on Linux.
I'm not sure how you would add support for it yourself unless you will create you own drivers for it.
