      Hi Henk,

what type of license do you have?  I assume a purchased full node locked?  When did you get your license? Could you send a bit more details?  If you send a friend/conversation request you can feel free to send the file itself for a look.

      Best Regards,
      Lisa

      hi Lisa,

Noticed that I don't have your mail address.

      Product is: CCSSUB
TMDSCCSSUB-MCUN01-W , which was licenced on 1-21-2010 and expired on 1-21-2011. (just noticed it yesterday, as I never had time to use this product and was not aware that it would expire?)

note: At the same license date a second CCS product was licensed, but I don't quite understand the difference ?

TI Part design description: Code Composer Studio IDE - Microcontroller- Node Locked Single User (N01)

      TI Part number : TMDSCCS-MCUN01-v4.0

pls advice and I hope you have a solution for me, as I just now will have to use this product !

      thanks,

      /Henk

      HI Henk,

you can simply send me a friend or conversation request with the license file for us to look at.

What exact message are you getting in CCS?  How do you have CCS configured?  Do I understand you found two license files?  Which is CCS pointing to?

      TI Part number : TMDSCCS-MCUN01-v4.0

The above part number sounds correct.  This is a full microcontroller node locked license for v4.  Is this what you purchased?  Note if you are trying v5, this is not a v5 license.  So I assume you are using CCSv4?  Is this correct?

Any further details would help us sort this out.

      Best Regards,
      Lisa

      Hi Henk,

ok, I think it is your subscription, not your license that is expired.

When you run CCS, can you please confirm that you do no see unlicensed?

A subscription is what allows major upgrades (if with an active subscription you could migrate to a v5 license for example).

A CCS license itself never expires.

      Hope this helps.

      Best Regards,
      LIsa

      dear Lisa,

As it askes me to register again, cannot use it at all. Problems with the  lic file I suppose as the license cannot expire? Tried to find the lic file but cannot locate it. ( must have lost it after trouble with my computer? )

As I use my existing license file it is rejected, because it has been used allready.

Hope you can assist me in generating a new liv file, as I must have lost it !

Thanks again for your help and wait for advice,

      /Henk

      Hi Henk,

if you lost your .lic file, unfortunately I will have to direct you to the license team at ccs_subscriptions@list.ti.com

As I said, a node locked license does not expire.  A subscription can and that is what your message shows as expiring.

      Best Regards,
      Lisa
