I have CCS5 installed. The other day I thought I installed a JDT plugin in Eclipse, but, alas, today I can't seem to find it. when I selected the Perspective -> Other path.
I would like to have a java plugin and a PDE plugin installed in CCS5's Eclipse. I have PDE as a standalone program, but read somewhere it too could be a plugin.
I searched the web and found version 3.2 of both these plugins, but it seems that they're for something called EasyEclipse. I'm confused as there seem to be more different versions or varieties than Carter has Little Liver pills! LOL!
If someone could point me in the right direction where I can find these plugins and any others of worth, I'd appreciate it.
Also if you have some hints and tips about installing the plugins in the correct manner so the next time I open CCS5 ... they're still there, I'd appreciate it too.

Hello Dirigo,
Bo DirigoAlso if you have some hints and tips about installing the plugins in the correct manner so the next time I open CCS5 ... they're still there, I'd appreciate it too.
From slides 55-61 of the below presentation, there is a section on installing eclipse plug-ins in CCS:
http://software-dl.ti.com/dsps/dsps_public_sw/sdo_ccstudio/workshops/CCSv5/CCSv5_AdvancedWorkshop.pdf
There is no central repository for CCS eclipse plug-ins. People simply use the main eclipse marketplace and make sure it is compatible with the eclipse version CCSv5.1 is based on (3.7). Sometimes when a plug-in is successfully used with CCS, someone will create a wikitopic on it:
http://processors.wiki.ti.com/index.php/Category:CCS_Plugins
But so far the list of topics is still pretty small.

Hi Ki-Soo,
Thank you for your response. I've taken a look at the workshop pdf you suggested and believe it will be a great help to me, especially the pages you listed. I'm going to try that and add the Terminal. Wish me luck!
Also, the link to the repository is appreciated. As you mention, while the content may be small now, I too believe it will grow and be of benefit to all of us in time ... especially newbies.
My best to you.

the CCS "repository" is really just a collection of wiki topics. I mentioned the url in my last post but here it is again:
Thanks

I followed the steps as described in the Plugins section of the pdf and it worked as advertised. I now have Terminal plugin installed.
Thanks again. No need to respond.
