Code-Changes not builded
In CCS 5.2.1.00018 working with a stellaris porject a problem appear:
only a rebuild will accept the changes correctly
When rebuilding the project the process 'hangs' for a longer time with the message
"Refreshing workspace (Blocked: The user operation is waiting for background to be complete.)"
Followed this threads:
http://e2e.ti.com/support/development_tools/code_composer_studio/f/81/p/189792/680810.aspx (only header files affected)
Any idea whats wrong with ccs or the project?
Thanks in advance
can you please provide a bit more information/details? Are you experiencing the bug described in the post you referenced? How have you Does this only happen on the one project/workspace? Is there a small test case you could send? Is this an imported project?
Hi Lisa, thanks for your reply.
Lisa TIAre you experiencing the bug described in the post you referenced?
not realy because as described in the thread its concerning only changing in headers, but maybe its belonging together.
Lisa TIHow have you Does this only happen on the one project/workspace?
For this particular yes, there is another familiar problem in another workspace using a msp430 but i think should not topic of this post
Lisa TIcan you please provide a bit more information/details?
Lisa TIIs this an imported project?
yes, more background :
i am using a version control (svn), the .svn folder is located inside the workspace folder with .settings etc.
The subclipse integration is not working well so i decided not to commit or manage other svn opperations with subclipse
So i have to check out a revision from time to time (manualy tortoise svn) than i ahve to create an empty workspace and import the project sources.
Works all fine beside i detected the problem of tis post .
would you be able to provide a test case or step by step description of what you have done? We would like to see if we can reproduce this as it does seem to be something new. It is also probably not related to source control.
I just want to add the we (3 devolpers) encounter similar problems. From time to time error mesages don't disapear when code was changed. Only a clean, build helps. It's quite annoying that one has to manually check if an error message is valid.
Same problem with programs that don't work. You change the code and build command says: "nothing to be done for all".
I just wanted to double check whether there is an update/further information that could be provided here. Please note that the next couple weeks may be slower than normal responses.
sorry for not answering, immense package of work last time.
I am still suffering about the described problem, i will trie to create a workspace to reproduce the issiu and post it asap.
seems to be sovled with Version: 5.3.0.00090
thx ccs team
