Hi,
if ther is TI GOD, please listen to my prayers!!!!!!!
I have TI TMS320DM6437 EVM and a xds510usb emulator. i want to connect it to an input and output device and c it running.
I have the following setup with me: Code Composer Studio 5.1 DVSDK 1.11 XDC tools 3.22 DSP/BIOS 5.41
so i tried to run the demo on it. i attempted to build the demo project, without any success. read a lot about migrating from 3.3 to 5.1, tried all sorts of configuration, but of no use. i could not get rd of an error saying cannot open file xdc/std.h and ti/xdc/std.h.... etc.
so disappointed, i returned to install the following tools using the CD's that came along with the board: Code Composer studio 3.3 DVSDK 1.11 XDCtools 2.95 DSP/BIOS 5.31
Now, code composer studio 3.3 would not launch on my windows 7 machine, saying some "sdgoicepick_bypss.drv" error, configuration does not support target. bla bla bla..
searched the forum, did everything i could find out, but it wont work,
following are one of the zillion threads that i went through and that helped me little..

i am dying to c a out display on the device using my camera, so at least i can develop something, the purpose for which the board was bought. and i am stuck with setting up the environment for the board, for so long, that i have dropped the idea of using this board for any development.. this is crap...
So should i just throw away my DSP board, as it seems good for nothing.. or is there a solution that i will be able to c my board performing some task ever..
desperately need help, or i would kill my self.. :P
