XDS100 emulation with FT4232 chip

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: OMAPL138

Hello,

I'm developing a processing system based on OMAPL138. I'm working with experimenter kit and everything is all right. This development board uses the FT2232D chip to convert USB to jtag to debug with a XDS100 emulator.

However our final system needs more than the 2 channels suplied by that FTDI chip, so we are planning to use FT4232 chip. I'm pretty sure we wouldn't have any problem to make a JTAG chain work with this chip but I'm afraid I wouldn't be able to use EMU0 and EMU1 signals to implement a whole XDS100 emulator.

How can I configure the debugger/PCdriver or the FTDI chip to use the correct port and pins to debug with CCS? Is there any tool to make that configuration?

Can I debug with a standard JTAG?
