I am working on TMS320F28335 using CCS Version: 5.3.0.00090(90 days eval version)
When i connect to XDS200 to a USB hub in my Windows 7 PC, it is throwing the following error,
This error is generated by TI's USCIF driver or utilities. The value is '-250' (0xffffff06). The title is 'SC_ERR_ECOM_EMUNAME'. The explanation is: An attempt to access the named emulator via USCIF ECOM has failed.
I tried with all the USB hubs in my PC also I'm using admin privilege.
The driver for XDS200 is also installed under C:\ti\ccsv5\ccs_base\emulation\windows\xds2xx_drivers.
In the emulator I can see the Left LED glowing green but not the right LED.
Please help me out in fixing it.
Thanks and Regards,
The problem got solved.I had installed VMware view client. This VMware View Generic USB device which had installed in "Universal serial Bus Controller(Check in device manager) was not allowing to load the driver of XDS200.
So I disabled this VMware view USB device and reconnected XDS200. It got detected.
