Hello there,

After installing of CCS 6.0 under Windows 7 Enterprise (64-bit) and the automatic Firmware update MSP-FET430UIF it's not possible to connect the MSP430FR5969 Controller - Error connecting to the target: Unknown device.

All works fine under CCS 5.0 in same system. Any suggestions?

Which silicon revision is the MSP430FR5969 part?

Please note, with MSP430 Emulators version 5.5.0.21 Rev D of Wolverine is no longer supported, so please double-check that you do not have Rev. D parts

CCS 6 uses MSP430 Emulators 6.0.0.10 so guess that CCS 6 doesn't have support for Rev D parts.

thanks for your quick answer! The Rev. D is the problem, with Rev. E parts all works fine..
