CCS6 has changed into the Eclipse IDE

I had some issues with opening my workspace, so I followed some instructions on the Internet and ran the following command from with in the CCS6 eclipse folder: eclipse -clean -clearPersistedState

I was then able to open CCS6, but is now looks like Eclipse and not CCS, and does not provide any features for embedded programming. I am using version: 6.0.0.00190.

The is what the toolbar looks like.

All my projects are present, so I am hoping there is some easy way to get all the CCS6 features back?

Hi Glenn,

what if you launch using ccstudio.exe. This was new as of v5. In the eclipse folder of your installation is where this exe should be.

Hi Glenn,

what if you do Window-> Reset perspective

Launching with ccstudio.exe should give you the normal ccs views/perspectives.

I performed the following steps to resolve the issue.

Window - Open Perspective - Other - CCS Debug

Now everything looks and works the way it should.
