hi,

I got this to work by commenting out the errors and putting in the lines below. both the undefineds are in the driverlib in pin_map.h. everything else linked with the driverlib is working. whats up?

Hi Daniel,

As you can see at pin_map.h those defines are dependent on a preprocessor symbol,

PART_TM4C1294NCPDT

So, you need to add that at your CCS predefined symbols.

You, can also compare predefined symbols from known working example programs such as uart_echo.

I got it, thank you for pointing me in the right direction. here is a screen shot of the solution for anyone with the same problem. It's a different project but the same problem.
