CCS6 update error

Hi

I'm unable to run update with CCS6 running on win8.1 x64

Any help much appreciated.

    Karl,

    Your update url seems to be missing a whole lot of information, something may be corrupted in one of the eclipse metadata files. Could you please:

    Exit CCStudio

    Run eclipse -clean

    Exit eclipse if it starts up

    Try the update again.

    Please keep me posted of your progress.

    Could you please post your logs? You can find them in <installdir>\ccsv6\install_logs* - if you zip up all the install_logs* folders there and include the <installdir>\ccsv6\eclipse\downloads\*.log file, I could take a look and see what's going on.

    Hi Karl,

    It looks like it's still corrupted. Let's try and force a clean up. Please:

    Open CCStudio and go to Window -> preferences->install/updates -> Available Software sites. 

    Disable all except for http://software-dl.ti.com/ccs/esd/CCSv6/Updates

    Save and exit CCStudio. 

    Hopefully, this will rewrite the metadata.

    Try the update again. 

    Please let me know how this goes.

    Yes, it would be best to download and install 6.0.1. Make sure you uninstall the current version, or install in a fresh folder.
