CCSv6: Software Update Error

Why am I getting the following software update error?

    I don't know what is causing this, but I would very much like to find out.  I have seen a few cases of this now, but I haven't been able to get further information in the issue.  The issue looked like it might be caused by corruption of internal Eclipse data.

    To determine if this could be the same issue, my suggestion would be to go to the window->preferences>"available software sites" dialog box, highlight all the sites (IE click on the first one, shift+left-click on the last one), and export these to a file.  Have a quick look at the file in a text editor to make sure it looks like all the sites were captured. Then, delete all the selected sites in dialog using the remove button.  Then, use the import button to re-import the sites from the file you just saved. Restart CCS and try the update again.


    If it was a data corruption issue, the update should get past this point.  Please let us know if this helps.
