Hi,

I am new in digital sgnal processing. I am using TMS320C6416 kit and CCS v6 IDE. I am unable to find supposrt files like dsk6416init.c and support libraries like bsl and csl when I try to add files to my project. I have few questions:

can I use CCS v6 IDE for tms320c6416?

where I will find these files?

Yes, CCS v6 does support c6416. Also, I would like you to go through this workshop:

The dsk6416 bsl and csl are not installed by CCSv6.

There are in the DSK6416.zip referenced from the Spectrum Digital DSK6416 Support Home

Hi Gautum,

you say that CCSv6 doesnot support c6416. but it does include c6416 in its target devices when you start a new project. And if it doesnot support then which version should I use for c6416?

Sorry Gautum, it was my mistake, I didnt read carefully. Kindly help me on another issue if you can, I downloaded csl and bsl froms pectrum digital site. Now I have set the paths correctly in compiler options and headers files are shown in includes, but still I see error when I build the project " Error #19000 cant open files" it cannot open dsk6416_aic23.h in c6416dskinit.h
