RTSC Tools

Using CCS v6.0.1.00039, I try to create a new platform:  Tools-->RTSC Tools-->Platform-->New.

The error: "Can't find ti.catalog' packages.  Ensure that a product with these packages is selected in Window-->Preferences-->Code Composer Studio-->RTSC".

I have added every path that I can think of to:  Window-->Preferences-->Code Composer Studio-->RTSC & still get the error.

What is CCS looking for?

Thanks,

David Smith

  • David,

    I am able to reproduce this.

    I will track this down with the development team.  I am wondering if the new platform wizard is out of sync with changes to the XDC tools.

    It seems that the RTSC wizards will only work with RTSC products which have been selected under the CCS Preferences -> Code Composer Studio -> RTSC -> RTSC support:

    Try selecting your RTSC products on the above CCS preferences screen, which should allow them to be used to create a new RTSC platform.

  • That did the trick for me.

    At first I just selected the XDC tools version but that wasn't enough.  Once I checked the TI-RTOS box below then the platform wizard was able to proceed.
