Wrong font in TI installer application on Windows

I'm using English version of Windows 7/64 with Region&Formats different from default US.

TI Installer application most likely uses non-Unicode font resulting in unreadable text (while fonts/text in CCS6 and other TI tools are ok).

As for example, see one of screenshots while installing DescriptorTool-4_10_02-Setup.exe:

    Yes it does, however other applications from TI such as ccs_setup_6.0.1.00040.exe, MSP430ware_1_90_00_30_setup.exe, MSP430Flasher-1_03_02_00-windows-installer.exe work properly in any user setup. I assume it's either fonts or incorrect language setting in installer. Should be quite simple to fix before next release of the tool...

    Hi,

    Does this issue happen during CCS install? If not, I would guess this is part of a component that is provided by another group.

    What exactly are you trying to install when this issue happens? Is it something related to MSP430?

    The reason of my question is that we at the CCS forum do not work on this installer, therefore I would move this to the correct forum.

    No, it doesn't.

    TI tool to create USB descriptors for MSP430 (I wrote it in the my first post): DescriptorTool-4_10_02-Setup.exe
