CCS6 Checksum issue

Hi,

We need to calculate CRC/Checksum for code. For that we don’t find any option in CCS6.0. According to forums we will get option to calculate CRC value on chip Flash window  which is available in debugging mode. But we are not getting that option. Device is TMS570LS0432.

 snapshot of it is attached.

Please verify and give us a solution.

    Hi,

    Unfortunately, the checksum calculation feature is only available on certain devices. The device you are using does not support this feature.

    But the TMS570LS0432 does support verification (either standalone or as part of a program load), and can be use to verify that a program has been loaded to the device properly.
