CCS6 Problems/Advice windows

In CCS 6.0.1.00040, how do I prevent Problems and Advice windows from popping up every time I have a compilation failure?  They block the Console display so I can't see error details without closing the other 2 windows.

  • Hello,

By default, CCS opens the problems and advice views in a separate section than the console view so that the console view is not blocked. You probably dragged the console view on top of the problems view so they are all in one section. You can drag the console view back to the original area ot try resetting your perspective to the default (Window -> Reset Perspective)

    Thanks

  • Thanks for the quick response.  The Console view doesn't show up if I Reset Perspective, but if I open it from View after doing Reset Perspective, it opens in its own section.  Still, Problems & Advice pop up when I have a compile error.  Is it possible to disable them so they don't take up space on the display (I don't use them)?

  • If you minimize the view, it will make it a "quick view" and it will not automatically pop-up anymore.
